CoLoR mY wOrLd

my dream is to be an art teacher, preferably for older kids. i want to tech them that anyone can add color to the black-and- white, regulated world of modern schooling and thus escape to a place where they can be themselves. through this, i want to teach them that individuality is key, and following the crowd is what keeps the world colorless. When i was in high school, i had to regulate my ideas and style to the way my teachers wanted, had to get my ideas and finished creations approved. i hated it, as i could never fully represent myself. i want to reach every student's inner self and bring it out with color, shade, and style. to me, that's what teaching art is all about. Everyone's an artist. each individual student has their own style and ideas. its just when people tell you that you cant, that students get discouraged. so this is my representation of brikng color and light into the world, through the presentation of artistic ideas.
